You could also look at Philips Vision Plus and Xtreme Vision Plus lamps for
a legal brighter alternative.

The extreme vision plus sound good but i dont think i would pay £30 for a pair of bulbs especially when these high power bulbs dont last as long as a standard halogen anyway
