Another camp bed
#1
Off on a training course next week for 3 days, would like to cut down on travelling to and from (100ish mile round trip) so have quickly made a camp bed out of some chip board i next door were throwing out.

I made it so it could stay in al the time taking next to no room in the boot.

A bit of a hack job as i dont have the right tools but still pleased.

Luckily (for the first time ever) im onlt 5'3'' so thats a 3/4 mat and i dont have to move the drivers seat. Win!

Ive still got to get a better bit of board for on that box at the end but when i move them bags out it wil be a tidy and compact solution for the odd night.

Cor! It's a bit nippy at night for camping! Hope you take plenty of bedding - I always reckoned that in cold weather you need plenty underneath you as well as on top. And a woolly hat. Oh, and a good size empty plastic bottle can come in handy for errrrr - emergencies!
Good luck!

At 5'3" you'd be better off curled up on the back seat! I couldn't get my arse on that board!

Excellent low-tech approach - you will find out what works and what doesnt without spending dosh/time on a big carpentry project.
Well done,good luck!
It is on my to do list.

I'd be trying my luck on dating websites before sleeping in the Berlingo.
