Door Handle Precaution
#1
Back when I had my 2010 van, we had some bad weather that included a rainstorm, then an overnight freeze .
The plastic seal that closes off the holes on the doorpanel froze to the paint and then broke away from the handle when it was pulled.
The seal then dangled around its pin and left the holes exposed to the weather.
This time I greased the paint behind the seal.
Fingers crossed -hope this might help someone elseConfusedalut:

An update -it works
Came out of work this morning ,paddled through the frozen slush, and without thinking yonked open the door and just saw/heard the seal start to break away but the half frozen grease stopped it fully separating so all is well.
It is on my to do list.
