fuel problem

2002 1.9 diesel. when van is parked up for a week or so ,then started it runs for about 5 seconds then cuts out. i then need to use the hand pump beside the fuel filter to get it going again. it like the fuel is running back into fuel tank. any ideas?cratch:

Fit a one way valve in the fuel line near the bulb. There's a thread on it somewhere.
