Having removed the three rear seats from my XTR I would like to fit a removable internal bike rack using the same seat locations (sprung catches) to fix the rack in position. Can anyone advise where I can obtain spare seat fittings for this purpose OR has anyone devised another way to attach a floor mounted internal frame such as a bike rack?

I think I would look at the possibilities of fixing to the strap anchors in the floor, front and rear with ratchet straps or simillar. Can the bike be placed upside down? If so would there be any need for a rack? A rack bolted to a bar could be anchored to the strap anchors somehow too. To get the seat fixings I would first think of going to a scrapyard and cannibalize some old seats.
