Actually I am no longer a Berlingo owner, but recently bought a 2011 Peugeot Teppee Outdoor which, as you probably know is practically a Mk3 Berlingo XTR. At the time I could not find a used Berlingo with cruise control so had to settle for a Pug! Since there are far more Berlingos sold than Partners I think I may get more advice and help from here. There will no doubt some Berlingo owners (self included) who will be interested to know whether your Pug has, or has had, any of the tyre wear or suspension issues reported on some of the MK3 Berlingos.

Yes, I read about the poor and uneven wear on Mk3 Berlingo rear tyres. So when I dumped my Michelin Premacy tyres last month after nearly getting brown underwear as we slid sideways down the Glens of Foundland on the A96 on a thin layer of snow, I checked their wear after 9k miles.Pretty much the same wear as the front pair but not, thankfully, uneven wear. So it seems my rear suspension bar is properly aligned. I ended up with 4 Asian all season tyres 215/55 R16 size on my alloys which seem pretty good despite the negative comments on websites about Far Eastern Tyres. They were, after all, some £392 against £540 for Vredstein Quatracs.Hard to justify for a bit of snow.
My main gripe at present is that the engine revs increase about 50-80 rpm above normal idle rpm even when I have my foot off the pedal.Even in higher gears it will not stall but just chugs away even up inclines! This means I have to brake a little to stop running into cars in front. I told the Peugeot agents and they said it was quite normal until a few thousand miles had been covered and the engine loosened up. I would have thought 9000 miles should be enough.I have cruise control but it is not used in town. Also not such good mpg at present 43 mpg approx on long A9 300 mile runs!!

My 2010 used to do the revs thing but my current 2012 does not which suggests the problem was actually a problem rather than normal.

Welcome from another imposter! Like you I had problems finding the right spec car, so ended up with a pug, but as they are one and the same besides a few badges, it did not concern me. PS as they are built in the same factory they also have the same faults, but more importantly all the same attributes as well.
