Modubox or modutop. The modubox is the grey plastic folding shopping trolley in the boot and the modutop is the beige roof storage system. I would get enough paint to do the lot in the colour of your choice rather than try to match.
So where does this bit go then ?

Has the car been put through an automatic car wash with those rotating brushes, would that explain it?

Mine has paint missing there too - white showing through - was like that when I bought it. Have kept an eye on it but there doesn't seem to be any extra corrosion going on so I haven't been bothered to patch it up.

If it's like the rest of the body it's galvanised (I can't see Citroen using aluminium for this)
so it's probably safe. Don't use auto car washes with this roof!!
They will tend to move the roof in its rubber seals over time and if your roof develops a leak
around the seal its a real (expensive) pig to repair.

Just to add confusion, when I venture up to my modutop roof I get the feeling it's some kind of plastic.Sorry, synthetic material for those who are touchy.
