Having seen some awful bodged "snow guards" on many vehicles of the years and also realy needing a bit more heat and mpg out of my van, I thought I'd have a look for some. They are called snow guards but basically restrict air flow into the engine bay.

Guess what? Citreon do them:

They probably won't fit as these are for C4's but surely they must do them for Bingos?

Anyone with access to Citroen parts catalogue??

Just did a search of main Citroen dealers and cannot find such a thing under Berlingo accessories Sad

Maybe Norway or somewhere else cold may stock them?

They are normally referred to by PSA as a "Bumper plug" and are found on the front bumper exploded parts diagrams. B9 Berlingos have a large and small one available - possibly one deflects the air intake feed.

The snow guard is supplied as standard with the Berlingo3 in some markets but not in the UK. Its in the handbook so presumably available to order from Citroen parts dept if you want one.

Possibly not available in UK to avoid the risk of overheating.

The glowplug lamp was on this morning-(unusual for the Hearse) but the temp guage still rose up quickly to its little perch, just below halfway up the scale.
Im sure if I tinfoiled the rad it would boil.

What should temp gauge show normally ? Mine sits @ approx 70-73 when I am stationary. But sometimes when sitting for a while it's down to about 64.

Once warmed up mines at a steady 85 regardless of anything.

Snow guards are certainly available for the M59 as they're mentioned in the owners handbook .
