my van
#11
funny you say all that, I ahve been into vw campers for years, bay, t25 then t4, last was a petrol 2.5 fully automatic westfalia cost 13k plus 1k lpg conversion, 1k commercial alloys.....it was great and i pretended that on petrol 18 mpg was good on lpg 30 was good, which i lived with for 3 years but with fuel getting more and more expensive I had to make a decision. So after advertising it for 4 months it eventually went for 9600.00, wow what a loss and that was after I had bought my berlingo expecting a better price. Thankfully I got brand new berlingo, 17k worth for 13k as i ordered it 3 days before the end of companies financial year and they just wanted another car through their books, without making much profit. BUT i still owe on it due to loss.
There we are , another episode in lifes rich tapestry.
50mpg now does me fine for such a large box on wheels, [though i know its smaller than T4. ]. I can still sleep in it, BUT again I bought a little caravan like you off ebay, a freedom , very lightweight and still getting 47 to gallon at 60 on cruise control on motorway trip to and from Scotland from Wales.
Its a Brill van, awaiting delivery from Germany at moment of a bull / roo bar, for front, none in this country, that should alter looks a bit more.
cheers

Wow hadnt seen these shots on the forum, must have over looked them.

Seats look lovely. Also, it kinda reminds me of when you are on an aeroplane, with all the buttons above you and the compartments above you.

Looks really good for long journeys.
