Good deed gone wrong I gave a work mate a ride home to night after work but the road was closed ,so I had to go the long way round as I turned of the main road he said there was a puddle . As i hit the puddle my near side light want out . I had a look at the head light at his house only to find loads of glass inside the light so i looks like I'll be buying new bulbs tomorrow :brickwall:

Sounds like many of my escapades - you set out with the best of intentions and there is an additional impost due to rotten luck. I once drove a 100 mile round trip to go halves on a drum of oil with a bloke, as it saved me about $80. On the return leg a lorry flicked up a stone which cracked the $200 screen...
I still rate your effort; you never know when that favour may be returned, or how much it could mean at such a time.
