I was sitting in the Berli the other afternoon, parked, waiting for my better half to finish her shopping. Just for grins I was going thru the owners manual and noticed that I have never seen three of the lights listed. The glow plug light, the DPF light and the water in fuel filter light. They don't show up when the key is first turned during the first couple of seconds and I got out a flashlight to see if those symbols are etched into the tacho or speedo faceplates as are some others. Didn't see 'em. Now I figure they probably didn't put in a glow plug light for newer engines but the other two have made me curious. Anyone seen them on a B9?? If so where are they hiding? Display perhaps but never show when there is no problem? Thanks for any hints.

Glowplug is definatley there - I saw it once!
I think it was at the base of the speedo dial
The flashlight trick wont coax it out though-I just tried.
It only works on some of them.
(You are a major distraction mr 3rensho...)
The water/diesel "trogladite" icon is a mystery but the dpf lamp is at 7'oclock position on the tacho dial.
In certain light conditions I can see a mass of unlit 'stencils' -most of which won't function on the satndard vans anyway and a vast amount that aren't featured in the manual either.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Thank you for taking the time to have a look. I'll keep looking in different lighting conditions. Hopefully we'll have something resembling sun here before June

Not really, just wondering. I've had it parked outside for hours at -11 and still didn't see it. February is still young
