flood damage
#1
Ok ... new to this but need advice...

Berlingo, 2002, 1.9.... flooded in recent welsh weather. Didn't blow completly but running rough and very smokey. Have been advised there is a bent rod and have now got second hand engine to put in which I am advised is 'ready to go straight in'
Mobile mechanic says he can do the change in a day - does this sound realistic? Also, someone just told me there could be a problem with the ECU being configured to the 'old' engine???
wise words?
thanks
