Hi,new to forum probs with 1.6hdi

Hi, Have owned 2 berlingos now and never had a problem with any of them,Just took a punt on a 3rd from an auction.My other 2 were 2.0 hdi this one is a 1.6hdi 2007 89.000 miles, very very slow, sounds fine on tickover no smoke good engine temps,could it be the turbo? know a little about petrol engines but nothing at all about diesel or turbos.drives ok at slow speeds but struggled to maintain 60 on the carriage way,empty van!any suggestions much appreciated.Will no doubt get a garrage to do the work for me anyway but would just like a heads up on what the probs could be. Sounds very much like you have no boost. If it's not making any noises check for split pipes before anything else.
