Hi all. just found this forum, having bought an XTR recently. Am certainly impressed with the car so far, it's massive inside. The plan is to use it for occasional camping trips by taking rear seats out and putting down a double airbed. 1st trip the plan is to get our tent close enough to "attach" it to the roof bars. If that doesn't work we'll get a drive-away awning. Then all we need's the weather!

welcome to forum and berlingo heaven......its a fantastic car for everyday use, camping, loadlugging etc etc. We have camped in ours, rear sears out, camping gear in, plus small tent. On site we stuck all gear in tent , ate outside, put self inflating mattresses down and wonderful. I have tinted rear windows [25%] so no one can see in, absalute magic. Great for one nights here and there. Also have drive away awning for longer stays and caravan for colder nights and more comfort required. The Berling as you say is enormous inside, with all those hidaway cubby holes,I use ones under rear foot area for storing a couple of bottles of wine.
