Picked up my first Lingo just 3 short weeks ago, an 05 1.9 Forte. The best part is seeing the faces of people when they get in it for the first time. The usual comment is "It looked pretty big from the outside, but it's HUGE on the inside. The only issues it's had so far were a non working 12v supply (a fuse and a read of the manual fixed that), a weird tapping from time to time (turned out to be the aerial bouncing on the roof bar!), a creaky clutch pedal (a squirt of grease put paid to that) and a loose throttle pedal (just needed adjusting). I'm lucky that I have a mechanic that will do any jobs for free in exchange for my keeping his computers up and running. It's done almost 100k miles, so we'll be fitting a new timing belt and glow plugs this month, along with a fluids n filters change.
So far, very pleased with it. Let's hope it stays that way.
