hi, please say someone can help me.
ive had some work done on the cyclinder head and in the process the mechanic ( a friend ) has snapped ( a clean break ) a hard grey plastic pipe fitting that a flex water pipe attaches to. apparantly it was too brittle to be unscrewed from the filter.
im told its a degassing pipe that runs from the back of the fuel filter and onto the radiator.
i have been told its a part that can only be ordered from citroen but after a week of waiting ive just found out that citroen neglected to make me aware the part will not arrive for another 2 weeks.
can the pipe fitting be temporarly fixed or will heat / high pressure prevent that.
thank in advance for any help
also can anyone recommend another place where i can order the part from quicker than citroen online
