Cigarette lighter / power socket / interior lights not working

The cigarette lighter / power socket / interior lights have stopped working in my 2005 Berlingo 2.0 HDi Desire. I'm hoping it's a fuse... but I've never changed a fuse in a car before!

Is it easy or do I need a car electrician? Can anyone point me to how to find / change the fuse(s) which might be responsible? Or is there another potential cause for the problem I've got? Everything else seems to to be working as far as I can tell (there is something loose and rattling inside the hatch door but I don't think that's connected!).

Hi, Check fuse 22 (30 amp) in the fuse box under the steering wheel.
If it blows again without plugging any thing in, you have a fault on this circuit.
Pull the fuse out and look at the loop of wire in the middle. If it's not continuous then it's blown. :thumbsup:

That's great, thanks. Can I get fuses from Halfords or do I need to wait until next week and get to a Citroen dealership? Thanks again

You can get fuses from any motor shop and even garage, get yourself a selection of different amp fuses and keep them in the car along with your spare bulbs. Only replace like with like.
