Pre-Multiplex Auxiliary Socket

I've pulled the centre console out of Freddy for a good clean (spelled O-C-D ) and can't find the expected two wires, black plug aux power connector. The only unused plug below the ashtray is a square one that looked to belong in something like an airbag bypass switch (haven't ID'd the numbers).

Is my search misguided? I know the M59 had one; seen the thread and pictures thereof.

Tap straight off the lighter (same as the Mk2) if you need another supply.alut:

I'll probably do just that, with an aux power "tail" from a wrecked Xantia. Why PSA couldn't design a usable lighter socket, is beyond me.
