Engine Air pipe codes/numbers
#1
Hi all,

Firstly a bit about me:
I used to have a 2000 1.9D berlingo in gold and that was good. It had done 237,000 miles and was still going. I sold that to get another berlingo, this time a 1.6D 55 model. I had the old berlingo for some time and did most stuff on it myself, this new one though seems a bit more involved and like most people I have a question.

I have had a look around the forum and cannot find the answer to this.

The air box round the back of the engine is all loose and the pipe on the right keeps coming out of the its little socket where it is meant to clip to. Plus both are connected together with duck tape.

I was wondering do anybody know the part numbers of these pieces?

Many thanks

Martin

Thanks for that. Looking at it, I guess its only parts 15 and 3 that keep that box still?
Also does part 9 come with the elbow piece at the back? Also is there a clip on the left hand side of 9 to keep it in place?
thanks for your help on this.

Looking at it, I would say the elbow is part of item 9 and that this is just a push fit into the filter housing.
Also there must be two nuts holding the housing down.(15) Confusedalut:

Item 3 is the problem if you look at the diagram you can make out 2 holes, these should have rubber grommets in them that lugs on the bottom of the airbox fit in. But what happens is when it is serviced by an oik they push the grommets out when pushing the air box back in place so the box then rattles about in a big hole or in my case the morons break the bracket off. The grommet looks like a top hat and they come up on fleabay now and again from what i can remember about 4 quid each for a bit of rubber !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are we there yet????? Huh
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace

Citroen do not sell the rubbers separately which is scandals, so you have to purchase bracket 3 and trunking 9 I had I right moan about this to the Citroen about this but they could not give a stuff.
Like previous poster says they do come up on eBay – I ordered some and they came in a Peugeot bag!? So you could try them they may sell them separately?

ok - i'll have to look at the bracket and try to figure out what bit is broken if I can.
Its a right pain as it rattles a lot.

I have an issue with the revs slightly fluctuating - not sure if this is the problem or not though.

Do you know what those bits are called - just might help my searching.

thanks
