Loved how DVLA sold G8 prefix plates, with a reference to GB.....then tell you not display incorrectly any letters and / or numbers.

I had a plate on my Volvo years ago S40 VOV

I saw one in Bristol on a Jag which said something like XJ8 JAG. This plate being approximately 9 inches from some nice silver letters thoughtfully provided by Mr Jaguar saying Jaguar XJ8 (or whatever it was). Seemed remarkably pointless to me.

I saw a Mitsubishi Evo with the reg no:-EV05BAD.Now that's good.

My favourites here, have been "1BAD225" - a registration relevant to early Mopar owners, but carried over to a Corolla - and "BOLLOX" on a tradesman's ute.
