rear interior light wiring

I am in need of help again with adding an extra led lamp into my 53 plate berlingo van rear. My new lamp just has usual red and black cables but existing lamp has 4 cables, can any help identify for me ? Thanks in advance. Stuart.

Read the numbers printed on the wires. Use B25U or B25V for live feed and either 300 or MB25 for earth, One of the last two numbers goes to earth through the door switch and the other earths through the light switch. Remember red is for live feed and black is the earth on your LED lamp.

Cheers for that, but the numbers i can make out don't seem to match. I will check properly in the morning when i can see better. Cheers, Stuart.

I think the two green/yellow wires are the earths and as the other two wires come from the same feed from the fuse box any of them will do. I had to use a magnifier glass to read the numbers as my new specs from specsavers dont work .

MEMO I must not go to specsavers ! :eek:

Check the wires with a multimeter.
Why stop with just one extra light...?

That would be the ideal position for lights in the Multispace. Shame Citroen didn't think about that.

They are LED marker lights for trucks/trailers.
Think they were £3 each off fleabay.
You do need to drill a 25mm hole to mount them.
Similar to these...

And available in white, orange, red and blue.
They are super bright, so no excuse for losing things in the dark. :thumbsup:
