milage reading problem

my freind in same street one day asked could he borrow my battery to move his transit into his drive i agreed..gave him my keys he moved van to his door removed battery sorted his van replaced my battery gave me back my keys..........next day i get in my van mileage reading 000000 and what looks like a small r in front so r00000 this has went up with use but so annoying as my van had 93k great selling point ect when upgrading my vans psv so no recorded miles ect strange thing is my trip didnt reset? still showed 63.2 miles ect just main miles reset to 0 any one any expereince with this?

I think your friend didnt follow the correct shut down when removing and refitting the battery. Have a read of this. http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?co...ot_process

ok tried that didnt seem to work now my van dosent have remote locking so tried with second set of reconect instructions how do i do first set without remote locking? as in reset the bsi?
