New alloys arrived...

Picasso ones from a car that drowned. I have to say I'm a bit chuffed with the condition of these. Barely worn Michelins on them as well. That's me sorted for summer then.

Don't know who owned the Picasso, but they obviously don't have any kerbs round their way...

Well the bolt pattern is the same but the offset is different on the Mk2, so you'd need to ask those boys. The other thing is that you'd need lower profile rubber on a Mk2 so you'd be better buying wheels only.

These were £400 - not cheap on the face of it, but as I needed 4 summer tyres anyway these were a bargain for me. 4 steels and new Kumhos wouldn't have been much less, and these Michelins are barely worn in and would be £120 a pop new. So I'm happy.

"A bargain is a bargain no matter what the cost"

Thats a pretty damn good deal compared with the aftermarket trinkets available.
It is on my to do list.

Oh, but you can't fit part-worns! Your car will flip onto its back and explode in a ball of flames.

Pictures are very grainy - Instagram screencap?

I have to admit I'd be very wary of part-worns if it weren't for the reason the car died (and there's a scary amount of mud in the back of the wheels to back that up)

As for the pictures - iPad camera indoors. Luckily the wheels aren't grainy.
