Oil Leak

I have a 57 Berlingo 1.6HDi that has sprung an oil leak around the front of the engine in the area behind or below the alternator.
At first it looked like it could be from the crank oil seal but on closer inspection I'm sure it isn't.
Anybody any ideas what there is behind/below the alternator that could leak oil?

I have the same model and year as yours and mine also had an oil leak that was coming from underneath the engine.
I couldn't see where it was coming from so took it off to my local trusted garage who found that the sump bolts were loose. They tightened them up, topped the pil up and didn't charge me a penny.alut: This might be a similar problem on yours perhaps?

Thanks for the suggestion, I had the sump off when I got it, to knock a few dents out of the bottom and to check for the presence of any black sludge. I will check the bolts, but I'm sure they were tightened up well.
