[Warning Light] P113 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor - Low Pressure
#1
Hi all,

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have recently purchased a 2007 Berlingo 1.6HDI and last night on the way home it lost all power and went into limp mode. I turned the ignition on and off and itrestored power. I manged to do this a few times to limp home last night.

The engine management light is on so I took it to MR. Clutch this morning. They ran the diagnostic and it threw up fault code P113 indicating that the fual rail pressure sensor is picking up low pressure. They check and there are no leaks. They reset it and sentme on my way.

About an hour into the drive, same problem again. Seems mainly on uphill sections or where accelerating out of a round about. Happened about 2 or 3 more times and then for the remainder of my 3 hour drive, it was absolutely fine.

Any ideas as to what can be causig the problem?

Thanks,

Cueball

Thanks so much, I will definitely check that out. I have zero mechanical skills but I am guessing its not a difficult job to repace it?

Thanks,

Just to make sure it's done properly and the system is primed correctly I'd take it to a local
garage (NOT Citroen Stealer!) and if they're good enough let you watch while it's done and then you'll know! HTH
What sort of mileage has the car done??

My Berlingo conked out yesterday and P1113 was one of the fault codes., also P0087 and P0093.. got towed to main dealer as it was under warranty... it was needing a new fuel filter.

Replaced the fuel filter today. All good so far. Have to drive to Calais later so should be a good indicator if it is sorted or not. Watch this space. Thanks to all for the advice and responses.

Hi All, just a quick update. The new fuel filter seems to have fixed the problem. Toot it to France last night and it ran like a dream. Thanks all for the advice and support.
