really need your help

Right guys having a nightmare here.
Heater matrix went on the Berlingo so i took the dash out and fitted the new matrix.
I have fitted the new dash but now when i turn the ignition on the only thing that lights up on the clocks is the oil light and the engine just cranks over. As far as i remember the only wires apart from ones going to switches etc that needed removed were the ones in the back of the clocks.
However coming off the loom with the multiplug for the hazard switch is a blue multiplug with heavy gauge wires not connected to anything but i don't remember removing it.
Help guys any ideas?

Did you do a correct electrical shutdown and reboot if you were dissconnecting electrical parts berlingos can be tempermental if you dont do it right. Have a read of this dont worry if you aint got remote key just skip that bit. http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?co...ot_process

I think there was a thread ( which I cant find) about a spare cigarette lighter plug in behind the dash , could that be it.?
There are usually spare plugs for options that are not fitted.

What numbers are on the wires?

That cables you are thinking of Brodfather11 is down by the fag socket in the centre console and is 2 wires, an earth and a live wire when ignition is on.

Tomcat all i did before removing dash was disconnect battery, but only thing i unplugged during the job of any significance was the clocks. So going by that link do i need a diagnostic machine to reboot the bsi unit? Do you think the bsi unit will be causing the problem and will need reset?
I removed all the dash again today and checked and couldn't see any wires or plugs not attached. I voltage tested the wires coming from the bsi unit going to the clocks and the ignition first and second stage seem to be powering up ok.
So bsi reset seems to be the answer?

Just follow the link and do a bsi reset its a simple procedure and you dont need to connect it up to anything. Just read it through then give it a go you have nothing to lose. Behind the dash and centre panel are quite a few connectors that are there for different options that may not be fitted on your motor, I know on my van the panel above the radio has 3 or 4 electical plugs not used.
