Air bag warning leg

Hi

Got a 54 plate 1.9 berlingo and when I was driving to work the air bag warning light came on. Will have a look at the weekend but anyone had this problem or know what it could be?

There are two cable plugs under both front seats (if you have passenger airbag), that are somewhat glitchy. Bad wiring, i guess. Had this problem ever since i bought the car brand new. I've read that if you reconnect the wires yourself it'll go away, but I guess I'm too lazy. So what i do is move the seat(s) a few times with the engine off, screw around with the cables a bit, then turn the ignition key on and check if the warning light will go out. Rinse and repeat Sounds a bit annoying, i know, but if the problem isn't too serious it'll work.

Got in to go home and the light never came back on so will see how to goes

You could just put a short in the plug under the seat (assuming it's a normally open switch).
