This years insurance....

Information
My latest fully comp. insurance premium for my '06 1.6HDi Desire 92 which allows up to 7500 miles is £232.65.
Paid it today! £47 cheaper than Tescos (last year's insurer) could quote and has some better 'fringe benefits'. Got it with Adrian Flux.

£420 a year 10,000 miles an year. That's for me and the wife, as a Lerner, with brake down cover included. What impressed as I had a rover 25 before and that was £100 more a year.

Paid £198 fully comp in January for 56 plate 1.6hdi, max 10k miles, protected ncb and legal protection. That was Direct Line. Been with them for years and they have been consistently competitive and - more importantly - they sorted the couple of claims quickly and without fuss.

Mine will be about £750 per policy on the '01 Blingo; there are two policies - one mandatory that covers physical injury to third parties and the other voluntary comprehensive. Tax etc is another £450.

I should add, it's no surprise many commercial vehicles are insured as ostensibly private - cost is about 40% less!
