#1
Hello all.

I will be buying a new Multispace Airdream vtr or xtr this week.
Anyone know best deal available cash no part ex?

Best OTR deal I've found up to now is:
Red or white (she wants red I want white)
6 to 8 weeks wait.
vtr £11550
xtx £12450

Where on Earth are you ? It's quite funny but it doesn't help if you are in Inverness and the bargain is in Surrey. If you go in with cash offer most will be a bit more flexible than their screen price.
So where does this bit go then ?

It makes a huge difference if any dealer has lower price.

Only if the saving makes the travel cost effective.

At present there are too many cars and no buyers.
Ford sales are down 25%, the motor trade is beginning to get as desperate as it was in 2008, when they were offering buy one get one free deals on certain models.

Take the asking price, reduce by at least 15% and put that forward as your offer and don't budge!
Walk out, inviting them to think about it for a couple of days and call you. Don't be put off by 'we don't negotiate' they will if they want your money. If they don't call you learned a little about your local car market and try somewhere else.
A 100mile drive to a different dealer to save over £1000 or more, is a sensible investment any day.

Deal done.
e-HDi 90 Airdream XTR EGS6 white

£12,270.00 OTR

I'm happy, but could always be happier.

They should try ofering a 7yr/100k miles warranty like Kia. Its not unreasonable to expect major components to last that distance with a private motorist. If they want sales they need to do this.

More likely, lack of cash to underwrite such offers. PSA's home finances are quite interesting.
