Superchipped 90hp anyone??
#1
Has anyone had their 1.6 HDI 90hp Chipped / Remapped by Superchips?? Were you happy with the result?? The increase in bhp is quite small but there is a significant gain in the torque achieved apparently which should improve driveability. Advice would be much appreciated. Confusedtudy:

in my honest opinion they dont need it . my 06 will sit at 80 /90 all day . it will pull 100 on the flat and will sometimes do 110 . it is plenty quick enough for the handling of the vehicle . it has 76 k on speedo & has been serviced regularley . How FAST do you want to go ?

I don't see the point. If you want a faster car then buy a fast car. The berlingo is a great car for carrying stuff around and shopping, but sporty it ain't. :-)

Its not all about top speed chipping or mapping gives you a better torque curve making the motor pull better run smoother and better fuel consumption. The only down side can be if you do tend to floor it in the gears if your clutch aint up to you will soon need a new one. Ive tried a few cars and vans chipped and it makes a pleasent surprise.
Are we there yet????? Huh
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace

I agree with Digger.Berlingos aren't about speed.
I am more than happy with 90BHP & move quite rapidly across Europe with it.

I have no problems on long motorway hills as it is.
If you live in a hilly area it would probably be beneficial but personally I have enough torque.
If you go ahead, let us know your opinion as I do find this topic interesting.
