oil level sensor

can anybody tell me the location of the oil level sensor on the berlingo 1.9d?

Haynes book says on the back of the cylinder block at the bottom best access from underneath. This is the plug you are looking for

It is at the rear of the engine on the left hand end and is mounted vertically.
