Attached below, is a picture of my modular clamping setup. It's cheap and easy to make. This means I can cheerfully turn over a motor for decoking, or in this case, build a little oil pressure to flush out the oil feed gallery.
The 4mm flat plates have a little dab of MIG on the "points" which contact the liners, so they apply pronounced pressure where desired.
I use the actual head bolts; they pass through small diameter RHS spacer tube (just under ¾" outside) which is cut square at the ends then cleaned up with files and a wire buff. This way I only have to choose a set of spacer tubes to suit the engine - for the TU3 they are 140mm long.
