Hi All

I am getting a new 2013 plate soon and heard you can have a monthly report emailed to you about the van's performance. Kind of like fleet management, but via the Teletrac built-in GPS system, which comes as standard with these new Citroen Berlingo vans. Is this for real?

Tracking examples
How fast van driving
What times the engine starts and stops.
What gears are used when driving.

When I worked in the truck industry some 10 years ago, technology existed which logged all data such as this in the ECU. This was on trucks running Cummins diesel engines. Plugging in a computer interface enabled the data to be downloaded and presented as a report which many fleet managers wanted for their records. Not only showing the statistics for the vehicle's performance but also who the rogue or donkey drivers were. Obviously technology has now moved on to enable remote telemetry of vehilce movements and performance. Big brother is watching you....
