Parking sensor kit
#1
My berlingo has no rear parking sensors (funny how you soon get used to things ). I saw this on ebay, I wonder if anyone else might have tried these on their car.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electromagnetic-Parking-Sensor-Kit-/221204924121?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3380d746d9

I would be a little suspicious of it, based mainly on the low price and fairly superficial copywriting.

You shouldn't have any issues incorporating common ultrasonic sensors in your bumper, and they'll be reliable as any factory fit.

You may need to remove bumper to fit.
Looks very similar:

Hi ,
I fitted the dolphin kit to my van, seems OK so far , removed the bumper, slightly akward and ran the wire to the display mounted on the indicator switch cover but going to move it as it is not the ideal position. I took the sensor wire feed from the brake light circuit on the nearside and mounted the control box behind the light cluster

I've just ordered some sensors of eBay. Tempted to fit a little camera under tailgate lip or in middle of bumper too, but maybe that a little OTT. ha!

Basic Dolphin are well worth the money, they also do a version where display pod sits at rear window , ideal to be seen thru rearview mirror if fitted.

Fitted mine today. Want to order a camera now too! Not sure where I would put a monitor though.
