Asked my brother in law if he was able to find the adapter part numbers from the citroën catalog, he couldn't find them (he works for euro car parts) Like I said they are on eBay

I upgraded the stereo in my blingo as the tape player on the original went FUBAR.
I had no end of trouble when trying to use the original ISO sockets, even with an adapter.
In teh end I actually ended up making my own harness up (I had no shortage of live feeds from the old PMR radio set up).
I didnt change the speakers though as my car had JML speakers fitted from new and found them adequate for me.
I did however have to take it to the main dealer to have the on borard computer told that the radio was no longer there as it played hob with the central locking when I removed it [the original one].

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Lliam can you confirm what wires to the head unit goes to on the citroen connectors? i.e on your pinout diagram where does your memory (red wire on JVC) go to the accessories or to the radio muliplex? There is no A4 pin on mine (at car side).
On the newer model I think the pinout is a little different to the diagram you made up. Although the ground and live feed seems the same. And A6 is the ignition switch.

Observe the side of the harness when connecting. Take notice where the clip on the side is. To read the numbers you need to make sure the clip is on the left at the bottom then you can read the numbers correctly to where the pins are.
On my Sony the harness was wired A4 - yellow, A6 orange, A7 - red, A8 - black so I switched the red and yellow so A4 is red and A7 is yellow (yellow being permanent on my harness) as before the memory would clear with it being the other way around and turn on when I opened the door.
I took some photo's but I'm at work at the moment so can't upload them, let me know if you need me to upload them

Cheers lliam if you get the time maybe helpful. Thought I blew the unit up yesterday when playing around with the wireing but turned out to be fuse f9 which i know does the cig lighter as it wouldn't work and headunit woudn't power up. Tidied up up the cables and replaced the fuse and all is working fine. Still having trouble with the illumination but just set me unit to dim between 18:00 and 07:00am rather than at the lights. Also sorted the line in Phonos to jack cable for the iPhone/iPod which also seems to be working fine.
