Temp guage in the digital display
#1
Hi all,

In the center digital display where it has the time, mpg, radio station etc... there is also the temperature in C and in F.
Mine was working fine and then all of a sudden it now reads wrong. i.e. it did say 1 c and now it says 70 or 60 or 65 or 58 etc.....

I tried changing it to F but it is even higher, no luck changing it back t C either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks

Martin

It's either the temp sensor OR global warming.Confusedcratch: I think the sensor is in the LH mirror, but if I'm wrong someone will give me a kick.

Check both door connectors for corrosion etc.
They unscrew and are on the end of the flexible rubber boot where the door hinges are.

Hi,

The electrical connections seem ok going to the door. they are all nice and clean.
So I guess in the mirror? I think I might need a new mirror though as mine has a cable tie round it, I just don't know which one to get. Does anyone have any ideas? Mine has the car coloured square on the back and its electric. There are loads on ebay just not sure which one.

Also my mpg gauge seems a little less that it was before the temp gauge went wonky...... strange.

thanks

martin

I guess something like this but it doesn't say anything about the sensor?

Did you check both doors as my sensor is located in the drivers mirror (o/s).
The sensor comes separate to the mirror.

Ok thanks for that. I probably didn't find it as I wasn't looking for Peugeot parts.
