Hi there everyone ,

Just joined the forum as I´m looking to buy a Berlingo Diesel. Currently I have a Freelander 1.8 petrol, but as I now cover up to 600 miles per week for work I need something more economical.

I´ve already posted my first dumb question - I´m sure there´ll be plenty more to come Confusedillyme:

Hi and welcome to the forum

What sort of Berlingo are you after? Have you got a spec or budget in mind?

Happy hunting!

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Well I'm looking for either a 2.0 or 1.6 diesel, 2003 to 2006 reg. Budget still being discussed with SWMBO. Probably look for a fairly high mileage one (90-100k) as I'm likely to put 30k per year on it myself, so if I bought a low mileage one it would be a high mileage one in no time. I would prefer a high mileage, newer car than a low mileage older car.

Not too worried about spec, more concerned with finding one in fairly good condition (& not an insurance write-off in disguise - see my other post). I can always add usefull bits n' pieces & "bling" later.
