'03 plate Berlingo Multispace Forte steering wobble..??!
#1
I have the following issue...
It's not really something that worries me however it gets a little annoying on curvy roads..

basically the car is a great drive however in corners it feels sometimes as if it wants to pull the steering wheel straight.

It can't be serious as I have done plenty of miles like this it's just getting on my nerves lol

anyone know what it is or what causes it?

Could be the tracking geometry is out, but it is worth having a look at the coil spring as these are a known weak spot and can break. Are the tyres wearing unevenly? My suggestion would be to get your local tyre centre or garage to have it looked at to be on the safe side.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

ohhhh crap I will have a look in a bit see if I can check the springs.
If not I will go the tire place and ask them.. thanks mate

can it not have something to do with the steering rack?

Although its a weird problem for that...
It just feels like it wants to steer back on you in little shunts..

Whatever the problem is, something isn't right, so makes sense to get it checked out.

It took about 6 months maybe less for the edges to wear completely before I knew so will get it done as soon as I can. I was given the price of £12.50 for the tracking

Hiya TobyJug, if I go around a long corner, the steering wheel sort of gives little nudges almost as though the car is under load/not under load/under load briefly. Haven't had a look at the tyre wear though, maybe I'd better. Dave
