TDI Tuning box.
#1
Just, purchased a tdi tuning box,off Ebay £82.99,inc p+p..Fit it to my Blingo van took 45mins to do with some head scratching, but easy to do once i located the, conector to plug the box into.

Van feels a lot more punchy and picks up well, have to so how it performs but seems good..Tdi state it puts bhp up to 88 from 74,more torque and better mpg..So all is good...

Got one on the van, Feels more torquey and I gett another 100 miles out of a tank so cant complain really. The only problems I've encountered is one once or twice it refuses to start with it plugged in?

I have a tdi tuning box on my mk2 berlingo 2.0hdi , I kept screwing the adjusting screw in 1/4 of a turn at a time until the engine management light comes on and it goes in to limp down , then back it off 1/4 of a turn , job done ! I have done this to all 6 I have fitted with no problems !

Another 100 miles. Where do I sign?

I've got my Volvo remapped and love it, but have always been weary about the plug and play ones which you leave plugged in. Hmmm...

OJ wil have a veiw on this.

In case of apocolypse smash glass:
Remaps are invisible-ish to a claims adjuster
With the plug in type if you hadnt declared the mod and had a serious prang you'd have to be be able to get it out pretty quick-not easy if you or someone else was hospitalised and the lawmen are in attendance.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Surely a remap would be a better option for that money? Only got mine because it came up cheap lol.

Oh the decisions....

I can get a box for £58ish as got a eBay voucher to use up. Worth a try for that price I reckon.
