Morning all, been reading the forum for about 2 years now since I bought my 2005 2.0l HDI multispace and have found the endless infromation herein extremely useful.
I acquired the car (named Bernard) with 100,000 on the clock, but with full service history this didn't worry me as I had seen TNT selling off 2.0l HDI vans on 430,000! So far (now on 131,000) so good. In the last two years I have built a crude fold-out sleeping platform to fit in the boot, moved house twice and transported many large and heavy items for myself and friends with small cars (seemed to acquire a lot of 'friends' once people who needed furniture shifting saw the Berlingo!)
Overall very impressed with it, for the most part get around 49-52 mpg driving like an old fart, 45mpg if I act my age!
I'll soon get round to posting photos and about some of the things I have done with and to the Berlingo, but thought I'd say hi first.
Bernard.
