Cambelt advise ...

My cambelt was last renewed on 26/9/08 but its only done 15000 miles since ! But the belts getting on for 5 years old ?
Should i be looking at getting it renewed ?
Its a 2001 DW8 .

I would get confirmation from a good source,but I personally would be inclined to change it.alut::thumbsup:alut:

Ive decided to go ahead and get it renewed , once i have something in my head like this it wont go away till i have piece of mind .
A good local garage is doing the work . Cambelt kit and new water pump £265 all in ..

Cambelt is every 150K or 10yrs.

Its 72k miles and most advise to halve the mileage and years if used for short journeys ...

No its not a dealer , its a local family run garage that we've used before ..

Well its all done and i now have peace of mind ..Cambelt kit , waterpump , aux belt ....
I had it done here and could highly recommend them ..
