#1
Hi there

I just got my part to change the timing belt on my Berlingo (MF) 1.4 i (MFKFX, MFKFW). (edit: 2005 model multispace)
The parts i got was timing belt TB-5575XS GATES
And waterpump driven by timing belt
WP-511 VALEO

Can anyone confirm that this is the right part for my car?

Not sure of the engine number.
Where i can find it?

Which year is the engine from?

Some time during 2002 they introduced an automatic tensioner, and the belt and pump also changed then.
the older belt has 108 teeth, the new one has 104,
The pre-2002 pump has 20 teeth, the post-2002 has 18 teeth.

If you have the older motor, the Haynes manual suggest making an 8 x 8 mm square tool for tightening up the tensioner. This is a waste of time as that's the same size as the sump plug, so a proper plug kit for 3/8" socket would do the job with less fuss.
