Mk 1 clutch cable for sale

My son bought this for his van, then discovered it was the clutch itself was shot. It's been in the back of his van ever since so its bag is a bit tatty but it's otherwise brand new.

Cost £48.00. Will sell for £26 buyer collects, or will add postage cost which I think would be about £6.[/align]

According to my browsing, it's for an HDi with the BE4R gearbox. Is that the driveline your son's car had?

The implication was, it didn't fit an MA series box.

It's not that it didn't fit. It wasn't needed as it was the clutch itself that had to be replaced. I'm really not sure of the drivetrain, only that the codes are from the the Unipart receipt, so any buyer would just need to check that is what they want.
