What is a Berlingo II v B9
#1
I am little confused. What is a Berlingo II v Berlingo B9.

Wikipedia stated Berlingo II is 2008 - present day. A google search for "berlingo II" shows what I have always refere to as the mk3. The french wiki, shows it as a Berlingo, Berlingo I phase 2, and a Berlingo II

Anyone have any insight

I wait to be corrected by learned people on this forum but ....
I think officially what is referred to as Mk1 and Mk2 on this forum is officially MKI. As both are based on the same platform, Xsara I think. The Mk2 being a facelifted version of the Mk1. However the Mk3 (as referenced on this forum) is officially the MKII, as it is based on the C4 platform. Confusing? Yes.

And a google search for "berlingo II" brings the same images.

To add confusion, the workshop manual refers to the Berlingo II, and Berlingo B9 separately. For example the aircon recharge amount is listed as:

BERLINGO II All models - 575 ± 25
BERLINGO (B9) All models - 450 ± 25

This is even causing confusion with citroen dealers. Two differenebt dealers have told me 575g. As it is a B9 model should be 450. The workshop guide should say Berlingo I Phase II, rather than Berlingo II.

I have had the system recharged and removed 520g. Looks like someone had previous filled it to the wrong value.
