imobiliser,solenoid problem
#1
Can anyone plz help, all of a sudden my van started to take a while to start then the next day it started to run like a pig when I eventually got it going so I got it into the garage and changed the glows plugs helped none what so ever the next time I tried to start it nothing!!!wouldn't go again, thought it might be drawing air so it checked filter housing and it had a leak sorted that and changed filter still nothing checked to see if fuel was getting to injectors and nothing so cut armoured steel plate off the top of the solenoid took the stopper out and hey presto, but a guy who was helping cut all if the wires without even thinking to mark them and when I turned round they where all cut now when I try and start it immobiliser light and alarm comes on can anyone help on how to get it going again as its an r reg with 80k any help would be great thanks

Have you removed the immobilizer altogether from the pump and run an ignition feed to the solenoid?
