Windows 8 phone

I'm having a lot of compatability problems with my new W8 phone.

Anyone else or is it just me. Mine's a HTC1X.

Compatibility in what way? I've had a play with the Nokia Lumia 920 but didn't use it enough to start experiencing problems...although i'm sure there were a handful.

You can't access anything from the steering contol stalks. When you make a call via the phone, that's it you can't cut it off or end the call from the control stalk. You can't do anything????

They are known as 'Apple fan boys' and will only use products made by Apple.. They are in complete denial of Android.

I'm a technology slag however, going with whatever company seems best at the present time.. Or even both at the same time! Gasp!, I'm writing this on an iPod touch but have an htc phone!

I've noticed recently a few posts about what should be fairly basic non-issues - yet obviously there's insufficient sharing of protocols to ensure these hurdles don't arise.

The idea of having something with a multimegapixel camera, quad-core processor and massive RAM, yet can't hold a phone call with a Parrot or similar - it seems silly.
