Are you thinking of taking it around Silverstone then? I'd mount it at the top of the metal bulkhead so its accessible from the front and back..

Mine is inside the back door, furthest away from the hot bits.
Then again, as the flame point of diesel is above 200c, should be pretty safe.

What steps should one take in the event of a burning Berlingo ????......
I would suggest Bloody Great Big Ones in the opposite direction to the flame path...

Easier and cheaper to carry a phone and dial 999 when required.

Last thought for the day.......
Would be prudent to insure against Fire and Theft......
Then again, who in their right mind would want to steal a burning Berlingo

Mine is located on side panel behind rear seat in boot area ( drivers side ), fits a treat.
Years ago, a fireman ( sorry, firefighter ) told me never to attempt to put out an engine bay fire myself- always get everyone safely out the vehicle and phone 999.

ive never seen the point of mounting a fire extinguisher where you cant reach it when youre stuck in the drivers seat.....even if you only use it to blast the ugly mug trying to get in through the window.
