Hi..

took out my airbox and other gubbins to clean them and realised that I'd not replaced this wire, nor could I remember what it was bolted to... Is it an earth and does it go back to something metal... anything specific?

the wire leads from the coil pack if thats any help.

Looks like a capacitor which looks like it should be earthed to somewhere ?. Near the alternator perhaps ?

Normally bolted to one end of the head on a petrol engine. Just an RF suppression cap.

This might make a good thread for people to post their pics of loose cables/connectors/things all in one place to get some help?
