D-Day. AKA MOT day..
#1
I'm not wondering if it'll pass, I'm wondering how big/expensive the fail sheet will be

Preperations have already cost me £80 as it needed a new windscreen and wipers. Other issues I know are and Oil leak from the sump plug, Power steering fluid leak, Broken rear door handle and its knocking like a trooper from both sides of the front end (ball joints/topmounts?) Needs a radiator hose too as mines rubbed a hole through against a bolt on the engine :brickwall:

I'll find out later, In the meantime I've squeezed all my work gear into the not-very-practical 25mpg 406 Coupe. Still, at least I can commute in style for a change

At least you'll have a fail list to follow, none of it sounds too expensive or inconvenient. Good luck.

What's the verdict Pete? Will it survive the scrap yard?

No suprises its fail! Needed a ARB links, and a bottom arm so not too bad! Got him to have a look at the oil leak though and it needs a new sump pan TBH due to it taking a pounding..The joys of having a lowered van Confusedillyme: Finally getting the rear door handle fixed too Big Grin

Dont know the financial damage until monday but it should be within my budget, And it earns it keep nicely so I dont mind spending afew quid on it. Can get started sorting out the bodywork then!
