Berlingo dash display keeps saying boot open

Hey as title says my dash display keeps saying boot lid open when its shut any ideas what it could be and how to stop it as it bleeps aswell and its driveing me mad :brickwall: lol

I found it at the back on my right hand door near the top. I stuck a piece of plastic on the door to make proper contact with the switch when closed and it stoped mine.
